Just a mix of things

You know you are having a bad morning when you are biking along, and then suddenly stopped at the railway crossing to let a train pass. The train that you were supposed to be getting on. I had no chance at all to get to the station on time.

To make matters worse, I also rode over glass which blew out my back tyre. I have never had a puncture before, so it took me a while to realise why my bike went so crazy!

I wonder what the third thing is going to be? I bet it will have something to do with the train ride home. Doesn’t it always??

So my sunburnt legs/knees are still really sore. Stretching (like say… when I am biking) makes it worse. But it is slowly healing. I forked over the money and brought a special after sun cream, but it was not good. (Really… It was terrible!) It was gloopy and if I applied it more then once it left a sticky mess on my arm.

So at the moment I am sticking with my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Intensive repair cream. (Or whatever the fancy schmancy name is) and it works. Last time I didn’t peel at all, and it looks like it might be the same this time too.

You probably won’t know… actually I know you won’t know… but when I was little I was sunburned very badly. I had never been burnt before so I didn’t know what to do. When I started to peel on my arm I thought that it would be a good thing to peel the rest of the dead skin off too.

You know, nice new layer and all that. Well it didn’t quite work that way, and I now have permanent discolouration on my arms. Some is light brown, some is dark… Its not to noticeable and because it’s been there so long its just like a birthmark.

Oh… Speaking of birthmarks… I have a good one for you tomorrow!
